Noticed someone post an age of 76 in the playing time thread i'm 57 and thought i was quite old to be playing,so was wondering how old other players young and old were.

I'm 53. I got a mate who's 75 and plays DooM like nobody's business. He's the world's oldest kid.

Age is no obsticle, as long as you know how use a computer. Then you can play any game you want too. My dad is soon 60 years old and he love too play videogames,excpecially if it is on PS3 an Xbox. Me my self is 27 soon 28 and i am old compared too this younger generation of players, me myself have allways loved truck games, ,my point is it dosent matter if you are 20 or 60 years old as long as you like truck games like this:).

Recap. I remember.. not dim memory 8 tracks.. as mentioned in another thread.
I remember when ATARI and C64's were "the PC's" at home.
I remember tape drives.
I remember a modem was a thing you put your handset in..
I remember when we didnt use car seats and seat belts were things that hung above the door in nice little folds..
I remember the my first cell phone was in a brief case.
I remember my second cell phone pulled my pants down.. hehe...
I am not 57 tho'..

i am 41 and love to play games as a relaxation thing. or if im am bored i just play a game and the hours go past like a hurricane hehe. We all have our inner child in us. i cant wait until the oculus rift comes out this year, then this game will be even more addicted.

that is the gear vr maybe? because oculus rift is in preorder now and first batch of shippment isnt before march 28 this year i think. but the Gear VR for samsung phones is out yes.

Im 46 and still play games. Great way to relive stress. I have not had to shoot anyone in over 15 years. LOL. Just kidding. Playing games at any age is good for the mind and body.

I'm the oldest in my work section at 38. It's my stress relief so to speak. Some go to bars, so go exercise, others build/fix stuff. I play games.

It's also a good way for me to connect with the younger guys in the shop. They all play some type of game lol.

I won't go into specifics, but I will say I'm in my 20's though.

Awesome. I bought a ZX81 back in .. umm.. last century .. and then got the 48K upgrade with the qwerty keyboard. Great machine. It's possible that the countless hours of sleep lost while typing in BASIC listings from magazines will never be regained.
