Pink Sky?
I'd hate to ask about this if this is a normal thing in the game, I suppose I wouldn't know since I'm fairly new. At certain times of day in the game, I believe at random intervals, the sky will turn a bright shade of pink, and I'm somewhat concerned it may be a graphic bug. I haven't found any other reports of this online, so any assurance that this is normal, or advice in the case that it is unusual, would be appreciated. Thank you.

This is very important.
When you see that pink sky, stop the truck immediately. Get out of the cabin and run for the nearest tree. Wait there, in a crouched position, until the pink sky goes away.

That sounds like a pretty good example of a driver for your graphics card.
Check that its updated.

I updated my drivers shortly before I began playing the game, I'm quite certain. I will try this, however.

Will provide screenshots as soon as it occurs again, assuming it does.

Happened just now, around 2:45 PM in-game. I've had it at random times of day, once at 9 in the morning. It takes up the whole sky. Screenshot here, I can post more.

unless your in My Little Pony world.. or I am missing a DLC for that kind of sky.. yeah.. that 'aint' right.
Pretty sure that would be noticed by me....

Update, the pink sky faded as it began to rain, and was gone when the rain subsided. It didn't occur for the rest of the 4 hour in-game trip. My opinion isn't an experienced one, but is it a glitch with a specific weather type maybe?

It's not really a major issue, but I was hoping there would be a known fix for this. Thank you for your feedback.

doubtful.. to be honest I ve never seen that yet or heard of it here..
So it has to be in your settings or graphics.
I ve not done a search tho' for anyone else reporting it.
Might want to look at that.. or any graphic oddities. Might be an answer...
or:::
Got any mods running? Those can make a few things weird happen.. but that all depends on what / where you got it.. a lot of places to get good mods... but a lot of bad ones to.

No mods here. Game is near-freshly installed. I'll be looking into potential issues with the game itself or what you had suggested earlier.

Please post your system specs and ingame graphic settings, i´m pretty sure that one of those collide with the other due to the fact that ETS2 isn´t programmed very well.:longhaul:
Edit: A fresh gamelog copied to here would help also.

Assuming you're on a PC. Please advise if you aren't.

Look in your game.log.txt file. You'll find it in
"C:\Users\*your_username*\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2"
Warnings and errors appear in that text file.

You could try verifying local files.
Right click on ETS2 in your Games Library.
Select "Properties"
When the box pops up, click the "Local Files" tab.
Click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache"

This may take a minute or two and will automatically d/load any files that are missing or corrupted.

if you have any mods installed they could cause an issue depending on the version of mod/client i experienced something very similar to this when i used a mod to improve skyboxes (not long after GE dlc came out) and when i removed the mod it went away i then realized that the mod version was the same name as the client version yet it was an older mod, when installing mods activate them 1 at a time both adding them and then try removing them incase they break your game/save and test mods with other mods and ALWAYS save before activating new mods even if the author says it wont break your save it is very worth the backup incase a patch breaks the mod which in turn breaks your save i learned this the hard way when i lost a level 15 profile when i first started playing then again when i swapped from a retail version to steam and updated to latest patch and it broke my save...

If you dont currently use mods i would reccomend getting all the Jazzycat mods as they add more variety to the very limited traffic and cargo that is within the base game and is completely stand alone so you are less likely to encounter errors when updating/removing the mods

Also my apologies if you dont use mods and my comment answers nothing for you, best i can suggest in this case is to delete game data and redownload it from scratch...
