1.50 Rubberbanding effect
When I update my game to 1.50 rubberband effect is back. On 1.49 version I change values of t_averaging_window_length and its work perfectly. After update game was very stutter/rubberband.

I was asking if your game was capable of running at 165 without rubber banding. Just to see if you could recreate it so that we can see if its a higher fps problem.

I can't exactly play VR at 60fps without throwing up on my wheel.
For that I would have to reduce a lot of my settings and I am not doing this right now. Try what is stated in comments #1 and #2.

Okay, the reason I ask is because I have already tried said fixes.

I hope you cheer up soon buddy. I'll leave you to it.

To get smooth frame time and more stable frame rate, set "t_averaging_window_length" to your desired target/lock FPS multiplied by 2. Set "t_averaging_window_duration" to your maximum monitor refresh rate. Highly advised this value is must be greater or equal than "t_averaging_window_length". You can set "t_limit_fps" as target/lock FPS, or adjust both "Refresh Rate" and enabling "Vertical Sync" options in graphics settings (not work in windowed mode).

For example:
  1. If your monitor maximum refresh rate is 60Hz, frame rate target/lock is 30 FPS:
    uset t_limit_fps "30" uset t_averaging_window_length "60" uset t_averaging_window_duration "60"
  2. If your monitor maximum refresh rate is 120Hz, frame rate target/lock is 45 FPS:
    uset t_limit_fps "45" uset t_averaging_window_length "90" uset t_averaging_window_duration "120"
  3. If your monitor maximum refresh rate is 120Hz, frame rate target/lock is 60 FPS:
    uset t_limit_fps "60" uset t_averaging_window_length "120" uset t_averaging_window_duration "120"
  4. If your monitor maximum refresh rate is 144Hz, frame rate target/lock is 60 FPS:
    uset t_limit_fps "60" uset t_averaging_window_length "120" uset t_averaging_window_duration "144"

30fps on a 60hz monitor is probably acceptable for cats. What makes you think the fps should be limited to 30?
Since I don't really know anything about it, I might be missing something.

By the way, after extensive testing, I get the best performance when I set both averaging values to 0. I have a 60hz monitor and limited the frame rate to 60fps. In this case, the system takes over the calculation directly and no longer the game does it first.
The rubber band effect no longer occurs. (I noticed that when you increase the buffer_page_size value the rubber band effect only occurs, except when averaging 0)
I also have to mention that the fps drop still exists in cities with a lot of traffic, but only for a very short time. One possibility is to reduce the uset g_traffic command to at least 0.5, for example, which works very well.

My system and mods used:

nvidea 3060ti, i5 14600 2700Mhz, win11

Promods, Jazzycat & Enhanced SCS traffic 1.2

uset r_buffer_page_size "30"
uset g_traffic "0.8"
uset t_averaging_window_duration "0"
uset t_averaging_window_length "0"
All solutions dont work for me :( I back to 1.49 and game runs buttery smooth

Sounds like the issue is your hardware then.
My hardware is good, idk why this happens

Did you try to reduce your settings?
Yes, problem is stuttering, no fps count.
I don't want to mess around with it anymore, I went back to 1.49 and everything is fine. Maybe 1.51 will work fine on my computer.

Can also help with stuttering:

Set this in your config file
uset r_buffer_page_size "50"

Disabling FPS limit in game can remove stuttering.
The one downside I've found with disabling the FPS limit is that it tends to let my graphics card go nuts and use 100%, which throws off a ton of heat. It was minus-10 C in Seattle in January and I didn't even have to turn the heat on in my apartment, I just played a lot of ETS2 and ATS.
Funfact is ATS on 1.50 runs smooth on my pc

Copy the config file for ATS to ETS2, they are identical game engines and share config and control files settings.
