SWITCHING BETWEEN X-INPUT AND D-INPUT MODES
• To switch between X-Input and D-Input modes while wheel is connected to PC, press and hold mode button for 3 seconds.
• Red LED will solid lit after change is done.
Check it is recognised and calibrated in Windows Device Manager then use the Wizard in the game to set it up.
It looks like a clone of my Drift Oz Speedlink wheel/pedals and they work perfectly.
If it is still not registering in the game, you might need to take a couple of screenshots of the control and Wizard pages in the game options to see what the game is doing and perhaps link the game.log.txt by doing this:
Open "game.log.txt", (NOT game.crash.txt) in Notepad or other text editor.
Copy it all and then post it to pastebin.com (split in two or more parts if too big) as a guest.
Post the link to that page on here.

I am guessing that Steam has done something with their constant fiddling with controller emulation, as I did find a post from this past February where someone with the same wheel reported that Steam just stopped detecting it for any game.
I contacted SCS Support, they told me to disable steam imput or smth.
Heres the mail. it worked for me.
Please right click the game from the Steam library and select Properties. From the newly opened window, navigate to the Controller section and try each of the three options from the dropdown menu and see if one of the settings restores the correct controller functionality. We recommend starting with "Disable Steam input" option.
Please make sure to each time reset the configuration and complete the input wizard.
It fixed my problem. I just disabled steam imput. Works.
