What do yall think about my future ETS2 DLC suggestions.

Since Greece DLC and Nordic Horizons DLC are on the way, I thought to myself 'what other DLCs could SCS bring to the game?' So I made this list of possible DLCs that could be added. Let me know what your thoughts are.



1. Ireland DLC (+ potential UK rework)

2. Iceland DLC (+ Faroe Islands)

3. Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus DLC (Eastern Europe DLC)

4. Russia DLC (due to the Ukraine Russia war, this DLC will likely take a long time, since devs already started working on the Heart of Russia DLC, maybe this can be continued when the war is over)

5. Caucasia DLC (Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan)

6. Rest of Russia up to Ural and European Kazakhstan DLC

7. Turkey DLC (although geographically not a part of Europe, culturally and historically, Turkey played a big role in the European history (ex Ottoman Empire) Turkey could be used as a gateway to the Caucasus region.

8. Maghreb DLC (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia); Okay I know this isn't Europe but Africa, but considering that Spain owns some cities in Morocco (Ceuta and Melilla), and due to the proximity to the European mainland, I think it would be cool to have a Maghreb DLC.



These are all of my suggestions for future ETS2 DLCs.

Obviously Promods already has a lot of these map DLCs, but it would be cool to see it in the main game.

1) Will be a free addition with the UK rework (which will also be free).
2) Doubt it cause too remote to have trucks with cargo shipped over.
3) Not happening anytime soon due to 4). Same goes for 6).

I agree with you, but Iceland is also in promods, so it could be added.
Also with the Heart of Russia DLC, it was postponed, not cancelled, so there is maybe a chance it will come in a couple of years.

No one knows absolutely no one knows what SCS has planned for the future. When SCS releases a statement telling us what their intentions are, then we will know. Until then, use Promods mate.

I think SCS already knows what areas of Europe that are not covered by DLCs. I also think they already have plans for those areas.

Maybe also DLC plans when they run out of empty areas in Europe or other areas where euro style trucks are used. Who knows what SCS hide in their sleeves.

Will happen when the rest of the base map has been reworked.

No one, on this forum, knows when the UK or any other map will be updated until SCS publishes a message to inform the community.

Watching the actual map development(and this black areas there), I see possibilities for:
-Ireland
-Central and North Scandinavia
-Pirineos area

Central and North Scandinavia are coming in the Nordic Horizons DLC. As for the Pyrenees, they could flesh out the south of France and the northeast of Spain, possibly adding Andorra la Vella as a cargo city, but it's otherwise very much in the game already if you own Vive la France and Iberia.

Yeah...they should add seasons too. It would be very interesting though. There are already other games where the weather follows the real weather in that area and the related forecasts. Maybe it wouldn't always be accurate but it would be interesting.

Seasons will take many years to be done. SCS needs to make biome specific assets, replace the current assets on the map with them (as you will find the same assets being used both in Norway and Spain) and then have not only the 4 main seasonal ones but also transitional parts.
Basically, it is a ton of work, the asset count will at least be 12x the current amount and the game size will increase a lot due to that.

I think Ireland and Iceland should be one DLC.
Not gonna say anything about Russia as got a warning about "by passing steam filters..but...who knows.
I am pointing towards SCS gonna complete or build part of Turkey.....
But Let's not forget about Greenland, they are finally building a road between Kangerlussuaq and Sisimiut...

I think Greenland is geographically part of America and there aren't that many roads, but who knows
