Eletric Trucks

Are they just for quick jobs? I want to buy them but they aren't available for purchase.

do you ever read the blog posts? it states clearly in the SCS post that they are quick job only.

Why would you want to own an electric truck when there is no place to charge it yet? :-o

AFIAK if I recall correctly from what I had read the other day, SCS have allowed electric trucks in game currently within the last couple of updates for quick jobs only for now, as they would need to update the game and maps etc which is a task in itself with regards to the economy, rest areas and gas stations before allowing you to purchase them nativley in game.

Plus the developers need to secure the licences for more e - Trucks.

Given they're still in the process of developing the up coming map expansion DLC's i'd imagine this may take some time. As i would have thought, that they would also need to push the code for the charging stations into the current base map plus the expansions. Unless they push an update to the base game that reciprocates the changes to the map packs you have off the back of this.

I could either be completely missing the point, or that I've read into it too much, to the extent that my understanding of what is happening in terms of the e - Trucks being somewhat skewed.
