Greece DLC Question

Question, am new into the game and dont have any DLC's unlocked yet, altho i am waiting for Greece DLC but i have a question, Since i dont have any other DLC yet, when i get the Greece DLC will i be able to Travel there vua Train or Boat or i will need to get other DLCs to unlock the Path? keep in mind that for now am on a tight budget due to summer vecation and dont have much to spare for DLC's and games

Maybe, if there's a direct ferry route connecting Greece and UK, which I doubt it. The only way to "connect" Greece DLC and the base map (UK, northeastern France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, etc) is by using Quick Travel. However, I'm afraid there'll be no direct routes for delivery jobs between those two.

Do you have the base game if so you get map booster and get promods for enhancing the your in game map entirely while you are still waiting gor Nordic Horizon west
Balkans and Greece dlc's.

alr ill take a note of it and yes i have the base game i have around some hours in it like 15-20 hours

i know, for now i mostly want to be Able to do jobs withing greece, doubt if ill ever go out myself anytime soon and plus it makes me more comfortable and more fun to be driving in my country of origin, so for now all i want is greece, until i expand ill be able to get even more DLC's

the Nordic Horizon is still in the works for now only you and I want to get that as well and I really want to see what is like up their man.

the DLC's i have in mind rn are Mostly Greece since thats from where i am but also i want the Italy,Balkan and the Spain and Portugal on i think it was? but for now on the Plans is mostly Greece

When Greece releases, even if there are no direct connections from the base map to it via a ferry you can still buy a garage and move your headquarters there, or teleport to at least one city.
Downside is that you can then only take jobs inside of Greece, not in and out, if you want to drive on the base map you have to move or teleport there again.

Yes, but you need to have bought at least 3 (or maybe 5) by finding them while driving before you can buy them online, in the game menu under Company -> Garage manager there's the option to buy them (most right icon)

thnks, this will help in general lol, i had to drive to top of Italy to buy one of the 3 or 4? garages available from Hamburg

Every map DLC have a so called Key City defined to which it is possible to Quick Travel to or start doing Quick Jobs from. No need to buy garages for the sake of transfer between disconnected map areas.

If you don't have any map DLC connecting to Greece, neither road or ferry, you cannot drive between the base area and Greece. You can do job within Greece or within the base area.

We do not know yet how Greece will connect to the currently released areas but to drive you will probably need at least West Balkans or Road to the Black Sea, the latter together with Going East. Maybe there will be ferry connections across the Adriatic Sea from Italy.

Thanks a lot, i dont mind buying a garage there since i have enough money to buy one or two i just but it could help for doing deliveries? maybe if i start from baseland and get a Ferry from Italy? or train? if there is one at all

You do know that Promods requires all DLC right? And thus is of no use in this situation.

if you buy the DLC and then start a new profile, you'll be able to choose Greece as your home country and start there.

If you continue with an existing profile, you'll be able to quick travel there and then do jobs there. And when you have enough money buy a garage there.

Hey guys, silly question
I have never played Ets2, but I've seen YouTube videos about Greece DLC and since I'm Greek and have actually driven in some of the roads in the videos, I can say that the details are astonishing. Now, I want to buy the game 🤣.
My question is would I be able to drive anywhere in Athens, or just the main motorways?
