And if you think that ETS2 stays the same then you haven't read any of the news.
Just be patient.
Just my personal opinion, but that's very unlikely to happen, I very much doubt that truck will ever sell in Europe, and also my personal opinion, it's butt ugly :-)
That guy doesn't know anything more than you and I, whatever he says is pure speculation.

My bad than. It seemed legit and I got really hyped for it.
So SCS should leave their mature in-house game engine they have full control over and instead buy a commercial party game engine not specialized for their purpose and if which they not have full control over?
Either the UE5 makers want to make more money by selling licenses to a popular game or maybe destroy a popular game built on a competitor\s game engine....
What do you think would happen to all the map releases and other dlcs that I, and probably many others, have bought for ETS2?
You don't think they could be used in a new ETS3, do you?
After all, it has taken many years to create this collection of map extensions for ets2, and since they probably won't be reusable in an ets3, an ets3 will start with a limited map, just like ets2 once did, after which ets3 is slowly expanded with new map extensions .
How many of the current ets2 players do you think would jump on board with the new slow process rather than just continue playing ets2 without further future updates?
And regarding a Tesla truck in ets2, I 100% agree with @underscore:
So any ETS3 will be an inferiour version of ETS2, even more when it is running on a general purpose engine that SCS has no controll over.
