on Amazon.nl where it's advertised for 610 Euro it still says expected delivery date jan 8 2025
Next update was 2 days later, Sunday morning 22nd of September, 5AM, stating it has been billed and shipped.
It arrived this afternoon(September 24th). Currently have my keyboard resting on the wheel since I can't hug it like I could with my G29.
I haven't taken a drive with it yet, waiting on a friend, but it feels pretty good overall. Pedals don't have a carpet catch like the Logitech wheels, to keep the pedals from sliding. I'll rig something up.
Shifter could use some work. Even work where I might just swap the top half out with my 18 Speed knob instead. Going to require some modifications to make that work. Also 7th position(reverse) feels like it will tear the rubber boot apart, but I won't be using that often in ETS2.
The button section of the wheel feels kind of cheap, but outer section doesn't feel too bad. The ANGLE though of the wheel is almost flat. It sits so high off the desk. I'm probably going to have a buy an adjustable wheel mount thing and bolt it to my desk.
Buttons, SO MANY BUTTONS :D I don't see a need for using the modifier keybinds at all. There's so many buttons and they're all bound already with matching images. Couldn't ask for more.
Is it worth $638.99(my Amazon total after taxes w/ Prime)? Compared to a moza base + TSM wheel + Thrustmaster TH8A shifter + 18-speed shift knob, I would say maybe. If all you play and only going to play is Truck Simulators, this wheel is perfect. We'll see how it holds up long term.
A very helpful and informative post, thanks.
It seems to be just what players were looking for, but way out of my budget, unfortunately.
Quel dommage...
Enjoy!
Pedals look as though they are plastic (can't really tell from photo) so experience with plastic pedals has put me on guard. The pedals that came with my wheel are metal as are the pedals on my flight sim. To me, the price that you are paying for this sorta kit means I dont want to be replacing them in 2/3 years as has happened to me in the past.
Also a wheel that size and angle (IMO) doesn't lend itself to racing, unless of course you are truck racing.
I do quite a few track racing games as well so I invested in G-Pro D/d wheel.
I kept the G27 shifter so i have manual as well auto gears plus 12 buttons which with the 20 buttons on wheel is more than enuff as I also use Stryders SIM Dashboard on 7" tablet mounted at side of wheel so am more than covered for what I need.
Anyhoo, its horse for courses and hope you enjoy the kit.
