On the steam deck, where is the MODS folder?

I've never used Linux before the Deck and I'm trying to find the mod folder. I've looked under Home, Deck but I can't find a Local folder, I've looked nearly everywhere I can think of but I can't find an ETS2 folder outside of the Steam Common Apps folder that doesn't have MODS.

Any pointers?

- Disable Steam Cloud for ETS2 in profile manager
- Activate "show hidden folders" in your filebrowser

If you're playing in Linux native mode, mod folder is located in:

~/.local/share/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod

If you're playing in Proton compatibility mode, mod folder is located in:

~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/227300/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod

Am I able to enabled Steam Cloud again after adding the mods. I did finally find the answer else where to which folders, but I didn't see mention of Steam Cloud.

to disable steamcloud in the game, go to the library, right click on the game, properties, general/main.
