And what should your ABS have done about your crash? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-lock_braking_system
No, really. What?
Also, nothing has changed for either in the update.
i had stopped perfectly before the stop lines at the lights. at most if it was in real life i would say upto 3 meters before the line. so i know how it works i do not need negative comments.
also i know how ABS works. i was just wondering why it didn't kick in like it normally does when i have approached other vehicles in game.
i understand alot of you have played the game a lot longer than i have. so being snarky in your replies does not help me to improve my gameplay. i am asking a genuine question about something i have come across in game.
As Wolfgang says, ABS does not do what you imagine it to do.
As for red lights, use the front external camera to confirm you are BEHIND the line, not up to or over it, stopping 3 metres behind will never trigger a red light offence and will cost you nothing. Otherwise, turn off traffic fines and live free.
as for the braking issue i might be confusing it, but i am still learning the game and mechanics. so any comments that can improve my gameplay are welcome.
Are you using mods?
I got a Red light fine for this?? In Austria on my way to CH.
Never ever happened like this before 1.50. Never used mods either, before you ask.
I agree with pastymike, this is a new thing/bug.
It helps if there is a stop line in the first place, as this one in SW Germany pictured above. (This one is for you Wolfgang)
I always stop well before the stop line (when there is one), usually I stop where I can still see the lights from within the cab without having to turn my view.
This is not a mods issue. My profile has always been vanilla, never ever had any mods.
If it has not happened to you yet, i'm sure it will, that's because you probably had a green light at the same spots as we had red lights. From what I can see so far, it is happening in areas that have been updated in 1.50.
Time will tell if this is more widespread as people start to report it more.
