1.50 update wont load any of my 1.49 saves

Game keeps crashing while loading a 1.49 manual save. Is this expected?

Back to 1.49, activate your mods, sell all the modded stuff, update again. Or play on a vanilla profile until your mods are updated for the new version (highly recommend the latter).

yeah this is why you have 2 profiles but ppl never learn i never play on my moded profile after a update i wait to all the mods are up to date plus vanilla is fun to play with after a big update :)

The problem (how I fixed it) was Going into Nvidia Beta optimisation settings and resetting them to factory defaults, then setting up again in the game. The crash, for me, was a result of driver settings clashing with new default game settings.

Remember that when you become know it all tech support for a day.

Which won't be the issue for most. You are a sample size of one. That is not representative. We however are helping here since years and have quite some experience as to what is causing issues after big updates.

hey guys, so i downgraded to 1.49... deactivated all mods, sold the modded stuff... saved the game... upgraded to 1.50 again... and still the game crashes... but it works fine if i create a new profile... so something in my 1.49 profile is crashing it

can i send a debug log to help me get this sorted? i dont really want to have to start from scratch... i've never had an issue before when upgrading to newer versions of the game.

this is the first time its happened to me.

Can you maybe try and make your own thread? Would be better.

Please post your complete game.log file from the crash to https://pastebin.com (copy/paste, split the game.log if it is too big) and post the link to it here please. This way we can find out what the problem is.

You can find your game.log in your documents in the ETS2 folder as a default install on Windows. (If it is not there check OneDrive.) On a Mac the ETS2 folder is in your Library and there in the Application Support. On Linux the ETS2 folder is in the .local and there in the share.

If pastebin is not available in your country please use https://rentry.co and post the link to it here please. The page works like pastebin.
