The instructions say that when you unpack the 11 files you should have 7 scs files, not that you need to unpack the 7th file (it should not matter which part of an split archive you extract, the program automatically merges them, so ther is no extract all needed, just extract)
Aside from the def file I download all 11 files to a folder outside the mod folder, once downloaded I right click on the first file and just select extract here, that will extract all 11 files and I end up with a bunch of .scs files, those files together with the def are moved to the mod folder.
Also, it helps support the devs
You will end up with 6 or 7 .scs files and 1 .zip file. Put them all and the definitions file into the mod folder.
Takes me 2 minutes (on a bad day) to d/l with FFTH connection and for me, its so hassle free.
Whole operation takes me about 5 mins in all.
I don't mind paying for the fast server, but since it failed once and I got no response from Promods then and I have the time to use the slow way,..
No that 90p is for the cost for hosting / downloading the 1 file
donate to promods itself is helping them, I donated 5 euro for their hard work after I paid the 1 euro for the 1 file download
