I'm using Pendragon Volvo mod with this engine mod:

Should imagine it works ok with stock trucks.
This is alright of course if your OK with mods
Been using it for a while now without any issues.

to put it simply, scs has to reach out to volvo for a license, if volvo accepts, scs makes the model irl, then they port it in game, and make it workable, etc. etc.
so, it takes quite a while, but licenses are not fast
