Allot of people have had this issue before though, it reeks of poor optimisations and bad QC.
I guess openxr is for oculus, but at least it's completely playable.

I noticed no one gave either one of you an award. So I will, I was pulling out my hair trying to figure out what was wrong with my pc and it wasn't my pc at all.

This worked for me using the Bigscreen Beyond with Euro Truck Sim 2.
-openvr was very stuttery, but -openxr is much smoother
