E-Tech Renault

Hi Guys.
Can anyone tell me if you have to be a certain level to try out this new E Tech Renault please?
I am not finding it in Quick jobs.

Ok thankyou McPhil, but, as far as I am aware, you can only get it and use it in Quick jobs, so, you shouldn't have to buy it if I have it right.

Let game time pass a while to let old jobs expire and new jobs generated.

Yes, can't buy it. Weird choise. Maybe because it would interrupt gameplay too much if you would use it for 3000km deliveries and have to charge like 10 times.

If you read the announcement you will see the reason there being stated.

Because gas stations can't recharge an E-Truck. That may be true in real life but this is a game. Just let us recharge it at a fuel station until they update the stations with some charging ports.

... or take an in-game diesel truck, mute the engine sound. That "converted" truck can be "recharged" at all fuel stations.

This is a just a game so it is possible.

Drive over 90 kmh like 110 is preferable. Just like with diesel engines going faster is more efficient so you can easily do 400 km on one charge easy.

This is a game, that is correct.
And depending on where you drive it could be that the next gas station is more then 300km away from the next one........ so, good luck with that.

But I'm pretty sure that there soon will be mods to put that truck as a buyable option with an adjusted battery size.....

I have found no jobs in the quick jobs which use the e-tech at all, and I have been through the whole lot of them.

select renault theres a bleu bolt next to it and its a bleu truck obviously

I ran a couple of external jobs for the event, then checked again and they were showing up in quick jobs. Just finished a job from London to Calais, so they are definitely working. The truck image has a blue lightning bolt icon in the top-right corner to help see it quickly.

Yes, I've done a few jobs with it.
Still tweaking the audio to get the in-cab sound a bit more realistic.
At default it's way too quiet.
Not even any tire noise.
