Get out and push :D

Or failing that, hit F7 and get towed to a garage.

Call the rescue truck. And it is not petrol in the tanks, it is diesel;)

same here lol, the engine stalled at 10 km from the station diesel, so I switched neutral, with the hope of arriving at the station diesel, but luck did not smile me. However, I was driving 100 km / h but not fast enough to save me

Didn't you get a message saying that you were low on fuel?
Tark Jul 21, 2014 @ 4:35pm
I'm sure he did. There are places, unfortunately, that don't have a fueling station within the range of from the warning to out of gas. That's a real ♥♥♥♥♥ there. Then calling for a tow is the only option.

And that's why you don't take little bits of diesel, you'll use it all eventually and you keep it between runs so taking some is silly, take it all and keep it topped up, never let it go below halfway is my plan, and it goes quite well.

generally I take my mandatory rests at gas stations and that is the perfect time to fill up. However, I have had situations where I have to take the restperiod inside a city and my rhythm is thrown off and I find myself running short sooner than I plan. Last night I got off the chunnel in Folkstone, realise I was really low on fuel. Considered taking a short detour to the closest station but instead pressed on towards London. At the Dover bypass I was down to 10L and had to coast into the gas station on the way to London on neutral with a last punch of gas to make it to the pumps with 0L remaining. :|

If yo get that message you usually still have around 200l in the tank and can drive with that at least 400 - 600km....so it is not really an urgent matter when that message appears.
