Question regarding TruckersMP
Hi, i wanted to know if its possible to level up and do deliveries in Single player (vanilla game, no dlcs) and log in to TruckersMp from time to time to play with a few friends of mine, will that corrupt my profile or something ? and if i can, how does this system manages times ? if i have to deliver something in 3 hours and log in to single player, does the time carries on even if im offline and not logged into truckersmp ?

Sorry if the question is confusing, the short version is...: I want to level up offline and being able to pause on demand, and eventually log into mp to play with a friend that plays in truckersmp.

Another alternative is to use the in-game multiplayer feature, Convoys. For Convoys it should be no problems using the same profile in both single-player and multiplayer (Convoy). The caveat with Convoys is, AFAIK, that you and your friends must have exactly the same mods (if any) in exactly the same load order.

But if you prefer TruckersMP anyway, I would recommend to have separate profiles for single-player and multiplayer (TruckersMP). Use a XP/money booster mod if you want to quickly "get up to speed" with the multiplayer profile.

Hi there, i understand its best to have separate profiles, but the question is, can it be done with just 1 ? i dont mind the chaos of truckersmp or whatever, i just want to know if i can keep my progress from single player and use it on truckers mp from time to time.

Yes you can.
One thing though. Finish whatever job you are doing whenever you need to switch as you might end up with the in-game time being very different when switching. If you are in the middle of a job, you might end up being very late when you deliver the cargo.

this is why you have 2 profile one for multi and one for single

you can level up in single player i do that all the time but for tmp keep that account vanilla so you dont get any problems

Start a new Profile for Multiplayer, and use this Mod to level it up quickly as a single-player, so you can play how you want in Multiplayer later (just remove the Mod when done leveling up), then keep your main single-player account for your main, normal leveling.

You don't want to use your precious singleplayer save for the chaos in Truckers MP.

It is absolutely not recommended. TruckersMP is very much altering your save file which very much locks it to TruckersMP. If you use a TruckersMP profile you can experience various issues including messed up economy, no contracts, missing vehicles and game crashes.

In the end it is as with any non-official stuff: Use on your own risk.
