And yes, depending on your settings a ff wheel might react even if it might not should.
- And I also have no practical experience with the G923 which may contain other mechanics than my Logitech G920 which therefore may be noisier than my G920?
But anything that is mechanical will make noises when it works, and some things make more noise than others.
How much your steering wheel will vibrate and make noise depends on your Force Feed Back (FFB) settings in controller settings.
Regarding the breakdown of your steering wheel: Yes, all mechanical things get worn out when they work.
However, I can tell you in this connection that I have now had my G920 for 4½ years and according to my World of Trucks profile driven 2.510.371 km just with WoT contracts ... However, I do not use FFB as I do not like the eternal the vibrator in the steering wheel.
