Do you get snow / winter weather without mods

Just asking.

I've seen youtube stuff and it shows snow.

But that may be ATS rather than ETS, and may be via a mod.

So just checking/asking.

No snow normally but the "Winter Wonderland" event warped players to a "Winter" map to pickup Christmas packages, letters, etc. Perhaps that is what you are thinking of.

There's also an unofficial snow mod but I haven't tried that myself.

No, you need mods.

With the Christmas event (that has been removed) you could get to Winterland that had snow. But to get there again, you will need mods.

Grimes has season mods, however they will change the entire map, so you'll see snow in the south of Spain, where they had record temps of 30C last week.

Forgive the stupidity, but how/why do SEASONAL DLC's change the MAP?

They just replace scs assets with their assets.

Maybe I should have worded myself better, they don't change the road map and things, but they change the textures that are used on the models and those models are, or can be used all over the map, the mods aren't made region specific.
