ets 2 keeps crashing for no reason

So ive had no problems with ets at all until a now where my game keeps crashing when i enter my truck to drive.

Update: A friend told me to verify the integrity of my files, looks like it worked.

Try closing any un-necessary programs before starting.


Try setting these to 0 in your config file.

Make sure your GPU drivers are up to date.


This mod has a mix of comments that it works or that it causes crashes, maybe try without it?

start a new profile with out any mods see if it starts and you can play.

Your PC is too old to run the game properly:

This iGPU does not meet the requirement for DirectX 11_1 in the game, it is only rated at DX11_0, so may not run the graphics correctly. It may also be using the system RAM, reducing it to 4 Gb, because it only has 2 gb of VRAM. The monitor resolution is also strange, 1680 x 1050.

The game hardware requirements are higher than that system, and will only increase in the near future, when the new game engine update is released later this year. A new, more recent PC is going to be the best way forward.

Plus its only going to get worse for you as the engine/graphics are worked on over the comig year inc move to DX12.
Save your pennies (or equivalent in your country) and buy a PC.
You can buy micro atx boards so they dont take up much space.
Buying a PC allows you to buy and upgrade as/when you can afford it and gives you more choice re components unlike a laptop.
