Yeah, take a look at this:

It has a bit of a learning curve though, but take a look in the thread and the video for instructions on how to use it

Easy method would be to simply take a job then just go wherever you want to. You could then either deliver the cargo or just cancel it.

There must be a reason it gives you errors. Make sure you have read the instructions in the thread and if it still gives you errors, try posting your issue there so that the mod author can give you some help.

Other than that program, I'm not sure of any other way to do what you want, aside from just "stealing" the cargo from a job as the other post said lol

...did you even read the thread? the instructions are right there...

This video was very helpful (even if it is in russian :( ).
Basically, you have to buy a trailer (if not a default one, you should add one in ini file), double click it to make it active and select Connected at top.
Press Save game, load this save in game and you should see your trailer attached to your truck.

In my case, I used this feature/mod with ATS and bought a box_long trailer.
Following line was added to ini file, [chassis] section:
/def/vehicle/trailer/box_long/chassis.sii

Then, go to Freight market, choose a job, go to pick-up location but don't press enter at the gate, as usual.
Just position yourself inside that yard (park at one free ramp for example), save game and go to Tedit program.
Load last save and Departure, Destination, Cargo, Mileage, Price fields will be already completed. Just fill in Cargo weight and press Sign contract.
You can also press GPS to set route to your cargo destination.
That's it - you should have a new line in Current job field.
Now press save game in upper right corner and go to your ATS/ETS2 game; load last save and you are good to go.

In the same way you can load another cargo if you have enough space (weight) available.

At destination, things should be like this (didn't reached that phase yet :):
- don't stop at entry gate, go to the ramp and park your trailer to a spot (chosen by you, I guess)
- save game
- go to Tedit program and load that save
- press Unload cargo for selected job - I think amount of money and XP points will be increased.

Press Save game again and load that save in game - you should see updated money/XP points.

There's also a video in that thread that would help you (even though it's in Russian!)

I like to think of it as "extended borrowing." Besides, its only stealing if you never get it there.:steamhappy:
