I'd use truckers.fm . It's good as it plays in the background when your music is 0% and your SX is 70% or lower. It does go well with trucking because most of the time it's calm music & it's a lot like a radio. (I bet I make no literal sense but just try to go for it! :P ):steamhappy:

At the Main Menu, go into Options --> Audio. There are 4 Volume sliders at the top: Master, Sound Effect, Music and Radio.

If you're listening to music through the in-game player, you'll want to turn down the Sound Effects so they won't be so loud compared to the Radio.

If you're listening to another app in the background while playing, then you could just turn the Master Volume down on the game so that none of the sounds from the game will drown out your music.

It boils down to what your hearing is like, if you're half deaf for example it might be a struggle to balance the audio out; on the off chance you're not however these are the levels I have my audio set to:

- iTunes built in volume is always maxed.
- Depending on if I can be bothered with having ETS2 maxed I'll either have it set to 100% in the volume mixer or like I have it now it's at 55%.
- iTunes in the volume mixer I have it set to about pft.. 28/29%

Any other programs such as steam call or whatever just ♥♥♥♥ about until you balance it all out perfectly, usually about uh.. 100% for the steam program, ETS2 at around 30 ish and then your music either paused or set at under 7% unless of course you would prefer to hear your music then just give it priority (higher volume) over the other programs.
