Hired Drivers stuck "resting" ?
I'm still fairly new to this game and I just upgraded my garage, bought 2 trucks, and hired 2 new drivers to use those trucks and to take on jobs. The problem is since I hired them they have been "resting." I said OK and decided to wait for activity but now it has been a couple hours of me idling in the game and even closing and relaunching it and they're still resting. How long do they rest or is this a bug?

Thanks.

Forgive me but how do you rest? I turned off fatigue simulation if that affects anything.

Find somewhere to park your truck, a message will show to turn off your engine then you press ENTER to rest, this will cause time to pass

Parking places have a bed icon

Ah ok I thought you meant like on the regular game's home screen. Is it bad I've never had to rest even on 1000 km journeys? I don't see the meter of me getting tired at all. Just the gas going down.

If you turned off the fatigue, then you don't need to sleep.

But you still /can/ sleep to make time pass.
It's good to make time pass if you're waiting for a dealer to open or for your employee to move their ass

lol

They do rest for quite a long time before taking the first job, so just be patient.

I know im way late to this thread but its the closest to my problem my driver picked up his first cargo and wont move been like this for 6 irl hours

Did you drive your own truck during those six hours or did you sit and wait for your driver to make progress whilst you were using the in-game desktop/menus etc? If the latter then that isn't going to work because game time only progresses whilst you are driving, or resting, or riding a ferry. or fast travelling between garages, not when you are simply navigating the menus

I recommend you use ferry jobs (Norway-Denmark-GB) to fast forward time in game instead sleeping. This way yourself can make money while drivers get experience too.

Oh, I answered to op...
@Velvex are you driving/sleeping or just hang on game menu?
The Pitts Jan 1, 2020 @ 1:10pm
@Velvex, screenshots might be helpful, showing the Driver Manager with that driver selected plus the result of clicking on Show Log for that driver

its the way the MTP servers work they on show progress if i TP or use fary or sleep
