Steerable axle trailer
I play both ATS and ETS2 and every single time I am on ETS2 and doing a special transport delivery with the steerable axle trailer, I always get the tail end of the trailer caught to the opposite side I am turning to, usually the barricades. I am still clueless as to how to avoid it from happening. Normally, on ATS, with the same special transport, one doesn't get steerable axles and hence while taking a turn, I move further ahead wide enough and then take the turn and it turns flawlessly, but it looks like the same method doesn't work on ETS2 because of the steerable axles. Can anyone help me out as to which method is the best for turning around with a steerable axle trailer.

you need to have the truck over a bit to the side you are turning , like a foot or 2 if you will . that way it give enough space to miss the rear of the trailer . Takes practice youll get it .

Here's how I learned to pull them. Don't drive like it's there behind you. Drive as if you only had the truck, but hug the center-line. If the truck will make the turn, the trailer will. Don't worry about the trailer at all. Give it a try.

Thank you all for your suggestions.

The rear-steer-axles turn at the same angle that is between the truck and the trailer. ie. the sharper the angle between truck and trailer, the sharper the trailer axles turn.
Bear in mind this is also true in reverse ;)

Reversing with rear-steer is an art! 😂 I'm getting there though! 😁
