Promods without the newest DLC

I've got all dlcs except for road to the black sea and I'm playing on 1.35. I'm wondering if I can update and still use Promods without the new dlc. Is this possible?

no i was i the same boat as you, i had 1.36 and promods with all dlcs except road to black sea and i had to purchase the dlc in order to play promods

If you don't want play mp with promods then you can use promods 2.43

I don't want to play MP.
My question is that if I install a newer version of Promods, will I be able to play without the DLC? I know that the game crashes if you try to play Promods MP without the DLC but I don't know if that's the case with SP

You can not play newer versions of Promods without the requisite DLC(s). Promods uses assets contained in these DLC packs so if you don't own the content, the game will crash if you attempt to load a version Promods which relies on that content.

Just use the old version. The latest one doesn't add anything.
