New Player. Which DLC first?

Hi, had this game ages but im stuck at home like half the world. Ive been mainly driving around the UK portion of the map. Quite enjoying it but the scenery limitations are quite obvious. Which DLC would you all recommend i purchase first? If i was to buy all the map packs what order in or doesnt it matter?

You can use any map DLC in any order. You can have Iberia(unreleased) and no others. You'll just have to buy a garage using the Garage Purchase menu to teleport to it. No way to drive to it if you're missing DLC land connections.

I recommend Going East! along with any of the DLC that cover Eastern side of Europe, like Road to the Black Sea and Baltics.

If you don't plan on getting RttBS or Baltics, then ignore Going East!. Italia has some nice roads, as well as France.

thanks. i take it the UK remains the same- i mean the textures, models dont change if you buy for example going east

Correct, adding a DLC will not alter the look of UK.

UK is one of the oldest parts.

My favourites are Scandinavia and France.
Scandinavia, which is the newest of the old DLCs, has lots of different company sites and landscapes, including the Norwegian mountains, bridges and tunnels. So it looks a tiny bit dated, but is still fun.
"Vive la France" is the oldest of the visually appealing newer DLCs. I like the landscape, the realistic looking highways where you are allowed to go 90 km/h (faster than in many other countries), the different custom resting areas and the variety of difficult parking spaces.

Would love to see new UK DLC in future - a smaller land area but they could perhaps combine with other northern European countries like Netherlands, Belgium etc. Fingers crossed!

I know times are hard for everyone but there’s some good deals on steam. I am luckily enough to have all the DLC offerings regards maps. Take them one at a time you can spend many hours exploring each one. I agree with you the UK is pretty boring after a while long overdue a major update

I have Scandinavia and Vive la France and Beyond the Baltic sea and I would say Scandinavia and Beyond the Baltic sea are the best to get.

search up R u trying to decide on map extension dlc to buy cause they r on sale here is all the info u need. on disscusions and that will give u a summary on the map extensions

France has some beautiful side roads, be sure to explore those!

Maybe it was me not driving France enough.. But since the rework it either already was, or now is freaken awesome.

I recommend to just play, have fun and take all following DLC in your wishlist waiting Steam notification. I suggest to buy when they are selling in bundle so you can save a lot of your money, often it can happen with new DLC release (it's coming Iberia).

If you want to change however your experience from now, here is my favorite order so you can always see changing your Europe:
0. ProMods (search on the web, free maps waiting discounts)
1. Vive la France (because it's connected to UK)
2. Scandinavia (same)
3. Italia (near France and so one)
4. Going East
5. Beyond the Baltic Sea
6. Road to the Black Sea

You can also change your game experience with new feature:
1. Special Transport (follow that car)
2. Heavy Cargo Pack (so heavy for challenges)
3. High Power Cargo Pack (is it an elicopter?)

Accessories, not essential thanks to workshop:
1. Cabin Accessories
2. Wheel Tuning Pack
3. Michelin Fan Pack

Road to the Black sea is the most detailed in scenery in my opinion. France Italy and scandinavia... what the hell.. buy them all! :-D

It all depends... France will be nessessary for future Iberia - to drive on wheels. Going East is nessessary to get to Black Sea DLC on wheels. Similar with Baltic DLC.
My favourites are:
1.Italy
2.Scandinavia
3.Baltics
4.France
5.Black Sea
6. Going East - it is must have, as it contains my country :P Althoug it is very old, it is also must have for Black Sea and Baltic DLC for me.
