Hey is Volvo Chinese now?
So the Volvo car brand has devolved to Chinese quality after being purchased by Geely. How about Volvo trucks, are they Chinese quality now too?

Volvo Trucks is not Chinese. The car brand was sold about 20 years ago, back then to Ford. At the same time a trademark holding company was founded, owned 50% by Volvo Group (trucks, construction equipment, marine and stationary engines) and 50% by Ford. All Geely owns are the things that Ford sold, i.e. the car brand and 50% of the trademark.

Volvo Trucks is a truck manufacturing division of Volvo based in Gothenburg, Sweden. The Volvo Group was reorganized on 1 January 2012 and as a part of the process, Volvo Trucks ceased to be a separate company and was instead incorporated into Volvo Group Trucks along with Renault Trucks and Mack Trucks. The Volvo Group is owned by two major shareholders: Geely and AB Industrivärden. AB Industrivärden is an investment company. Geely acquired 'Volvo Cars' from Ford Motor Company in 2010 already. The shareholders of Volvo can be looked at here: https://www.volvogroup.com/en/investors/the-volvo-share/ownership-information.html Besides Geely, there are many others as you can see. Notice, that Renault and Mack go together with Volvo! It's one group.

Same with Peterbilt, Kenworth in US and DAF in Europe. All together within Paccar group.

With Renault it is, like Volvo itself, however only the truck company. Renault cars is owned by the French state (nearly 20%), Nissan (about 15%) some smaller shares by other companies and close to 60% in free circulation, traded on the exchange. If Volvo holds anything of Renault cars is is below 3%, which is what Mercedes-Benz as the smallest single shareholder officially published owns.

Because why should they include trucks that's not in Europe? Plus there are mods that have non-European trucks for use (albeit broken or outdated ones).

Not yet, no.
But maybe one day in the not-too-distant future?
After all, other Chinese products have found their way to the European market.
I don't know about other European countries, but in Denmark, where I live, Chinese cars are traded, and I have also seen some of them out on the Danish roads.
So it is perhaps just a matter of time before Chinese trucks also find their way onto the European market and onto European roads?

one reason for chinese trucks not in the game may be the license. SCS might not have license from the manufacturer to implement and use them in the game (yet?).
