What's up with the mouse sensitivity?

I haven't played in a few months, and until now, my mouse speed in game and on my desktop have been identical. Yet now it's WAY faster in game. I found the mouse sensitivity setting and turned it down to minimum, so 200%. WHY is the minimum sensitivity DOUBLING my mouse speed? It's unusable! Not to mention 500% was the default!

There's no problem on my end - all is ok here - put the mouse out and restart the computer, then put it in again. See if that works. Good Luck and Happy Christmas to you.

In game? The default is 500%. That makes my mouse go 500% faster than on my desktop.

For those that drive with mouse steering ( I do) this old post might help you in tweaking the numbers so steering is much better. -- it's been a while since I played with my settings, but I think the setting on screen move the mouse cursor on screen, yet, you can edit a config to alter the steering setting.

For my mouse, 2000dpi I have this line set to 0.125, play around with the number at the end, the higher the number the quicker the wheel turns.

config_lines[159]: "mix msteering `-mouse.rel_position.x?0 * c_msens * 0.125`"
