Pro mods !

Ok havent seen anything since the update to 1.49 of ETS2 does Pro mods 2.67 still work or has the update broken it ? as of last night I am using 1.48.5.100 and dont want to go to 1.49 if its going to break my game !

this is why you have one modded profile and one vanilla one ;) third one is a test one for mods thats how i do it then i dont to be scare to lose anyting

2.67 overwrites the Balkan DLC at the moment.
Maybe 2.68 will fix that. But that might take a while.

magicISO Sweden has that correct. I do also have several profiles to avoid that. :)

Sorry forgot to mention I don't have the Balkan DLC due to tight financial situation but still dont have the answer as to whether 1.49 and 2.67 still work together

Nein die ETS2 Version 1.49 geht mit der Pro Mod Version 2.67 nicht, es gibt da
nur 2 Möglichkeiten zurück auf ETS2 Vers. 1.58 zu gehen dann sollte Pro Mod

No the ETS2 version 1.49 does not work with the Pro Mod version 2.67 there are
only 2 possibilities back to ETS2 version 1.58 then Pro Mod should work again.

Version 1.49 will only work again on Pro Mod when version 2.68 is released, as there
is no information available this will probably take quite a while because where
possible it will be will be extended? like ATS Canada.

No, ProMods 2.67 does not work with the new game version 1.49.

Two alternatives:

• If you insist on playing with ProMods: Downgrade the game back to 1.48.5 and continue from your last save from that version. When ProMods has been updated you can upgrade the game again.
  
• If you prefer the new game version and can sacrifice ProMods for a while: Disable ProMods from Mod Manager and continue playing. Enable it again when it has been updated.

Many experienced ProMods player use at least two separate profiles, with and without ProMods. Use the non-ProMods profile on new game version while waiting for ProMods to update and the ProMods profile otherwise.

How would it be in this era of global communication that scs and promods released the updates simultainiously then perhaps problems like this may not appear, because i am sick and tired of having to run multiple profiles and i have in excess of 8.5k hrs on this product and used it as a tool for my actual full time career as a hgv1 driver [over 33 years experience now retired].

If you haven't noticed the warning on the screen when you use a modded profile yet, then you should read it by now.
You are using unauthorized third party modifications.

The ProMods team need the released stuff by SCS to update their 3rd-party mod. Not any potentially bugged beta version.

Additionally the ProMods team making its mod is all volunteers in the community working on their free time, besides pay-work/school, family and probably a lot of other IRL stuff.

This version will work *with or without* the Balkan West DLC enabled. It will *NOT* show any Balkan West areas, instead the old ProMods areas are displayed. All other map DLCs are required.
The Special Transport, Feldbinder and Krone DLCs are not required but are compatible.

To be complete: That is for the not yet released 2.68.

The question from the OP was about if current version 2.67 will work with the new game version 1.49. Answer is no, PM 2.67 is not compatible with ETS2 1.49.

Btw, OP does not talk at all about West Balkan....
