ETS 2 dual monitor camera offset
Hello. I have been able to set up dual monitor in ETS2. How do I move the center of the view so that the wheel is not in the center of the main screen, but off to the left? I want to be able to see more to the right and having the left hand window completely on the left monitor (secondary one).
Much appreciated.

I don't have the correct answer off-hand, but I remember it being a line in multimon_config.sii

Surely one of the values in there adjusts the camera on the x position to get it where you want it.

Yeah, but which one... I’ve been playing with the offsets and so far I’ve been messing up the view even more.

frustum_subrect

confusing, but possible

https://modding.scssoft.com/wiki/Documentation/Engine/Multi_monitor_configuration#Attributes_of_single_monitor

"frustum_subrect_x, frustum_subrect_y, frustum_subrect_width and frustum_subrect_height - Allows to specify part of the full frustum cone which is rendered into the monitor. Can be used to move center of the projection outside of the center of the monitor. For example when using two front monitors to represent windshield of the truck while the driver is sitting before the left one, left part of the frustum can be removed to move the center of the projection before the driver. Note that change of this view will change the effective aspect ratio so both fov overrides need to be set to correct it."

PS: I could never get it 'right'. I simply use F4 Seat Adjustment (A&D) to move the driver's view.

That’s gonna take a lot of math that I’m probably not capable of. We’ll see if anyone comes up with anything. I’ll back up my .sii and try to fiddle with it a bit tomorrow.
