Disable Frosty Winter?
When I try to disable this mod the game crashes. Anyone have an idea how to do this without clearing all other mods in the process?

Maybe verify your game files and see if that works? Otherwise, delete it from the mod folder.

I also got the problem before I had to desinstall the game & reinstall it. If you do so make sure you make a back up of your saved games !

Thanks! I think the modder is called Grimes. It's the "Frosty Winter" mod. Its a cool mod, but when you want to uninstall for the summer scenes you have problems. I think Microsan94 is correct that you have to reinstall the game which is a pain...since I have it tweaked the way I want it presently.

This maybe a silly question but how do I make a backup of my saved games?

Go to Users\[YOUR PROFILE NAME]\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2, copy the profiles folder and put it on your desktop, for example.

The proper way to remove mods is to disable them first in the ModManager, then you can remove the files. Just deleting the files was a mistake I made in my old profile and the problem is that the game remembers the additions somehow. I've got some "ghost GPS" mods in that old profile, and the game crashes when I even just look at a couple of trucks in the company manager.

EDIT: I have switched to a spring mod. Initially the game chrashed but it runs fine now.
Make certain that whenever you change mods, don't be in a job. Your idle truck should be parked somewhere and after a change, sleep to make the changes go into effect (especially true with trailermods since the jobmarket need to generate jobs with the new trailers or get rid of the old ones.)

Thanks ArticBliss. I love driving in Europe..the ATS is only two states and it surely isn't the same as ETS2 and I am American. I was advised to save the games too if I uninstall ETS2..I tried doing as you have advised but it still crashes. It's weird that you have to uninstall the games to switch seasons.
