It'll run on medium I think.. it's above the minimum required specs (GTX 660).
For reference his system was i5 7600K, 8GB RAM, GTX 750 Ti
In theory you should be able to play it. I would suggest posting a game log immediately after a crash as well as listing full system specs.
1. Yes it should run. Barely.
2. I wouldn't recommend playing demanding games on a laptop, due to it's insufficient cooling. When the rig is pretty new, you'll face thermal throttling sooner or later. When the cooling collect more and more dust and dirt over time, at some point your hardware can overheat and crash.
If you have a hair dryer with that hardware you should first make it run DOOM.

The last 3 screenshots are actually with SweetFX / ReShade enabled, good times on my old potato.
I had all the graphical enhancements available in the mod list and still managed to get around 25-30 FPS, which was pretty much enough for me. It took a while to find the right spot including all the mods and fiddling around with the graphic settings until i found a good middle ground.
Many people told me i killed my PC due to playing too many demanding games, they probably were right with this assumption but i don't remember which game actually killed my PC for good. :D
