g29 wheel and pedals always disconnect

hi, i am new to play this game.

i am playing on mac os with a brand new wheel and pedals (g29). every time i play i somehow manage to get the wheel and pedals connected, sometimes it will take forever and i never know what i did to get it to work. i have become so annoyed that this happens every single time, can someone help me out ? i turn on the game and i go into input wizard it still says logitech g29 wheel blah blah blah but when i press "---axis" or buttons on the wheel it doesn't do anything at all.

its a total buzz kill and it's making me hate the game. i am aware that mac os isn't the best way to play the game but its what i'm using at the moment and it works (kinda) so there has to be something i can do about it for it to work immediately and not after an hour of messing around with my system until it suddenly works. thank you in advance.

Let's start with the basic questions:
1. Have you installed the Logitech LG Hub?
2. Is the G29 powered by the power adapter?
3. Did you connect the G29 directly to a USB port or via a USB hub? The latter can lead to problems.
