Westbalkan DLC: No cities in Serbia ? Where is Belgrade ?
I see signs everywhere pointing to Belgrade, but I can't find the city anywhere. Belgrade is a densely populated city with almost 2 million people, but i only see highways, toll/gas stations, villages and cornfields everywhere. There is only one area that would be described as an industrial area.

Belgrade is by far the largest and most progressive city in the region. Come on guys, the city deserves a little more love from you. I know you can do better. I live in Germany and you hit my city of Nuremberg very well. Everything is where it should be. Siemens, MAN, shops, the old city wall, even a small pizzeria in the industrial area. I actually feel like I'm driving through Nuremberg. Unfortunately I don't have that feeling in Belgrade. Actually, the city exudes the charm of a village.

yes, but only on the map ;-)

Most European cities do not allow CMV's (trucks) into the populated areas (unless local delivery and even then it's more likely to be a straight truck's only which your not driving) so they can't be added to ETS2 as you only drive CMV's.

If it's any consolation the Garage in Belgrade is right next to the "Pančevački Most" bridge.

But from my 30mins looking at Belgrade all other routes into the city are for LOCAL traffic only, NO trucks.

Or no other city at all.

It's just like Cop Unit 12 wrote, this is a truck simulator, you get to see and visit the districts of a city where a truck is allowed to drive/usually will drive. Truck drivers on duty with their vehicle won't drive downtown.

It doesn't matter at all, whether you can drive in there or not. What bothers me more is the fact that the city itself is practically non-existent. Great, you can't drive in, but you can still make me feel, like I'm in a big city. It is impossible not to see such a big city from a distance.

You can't see Eifel Tower from the truck-allowed roads of Paris either.

Eifel Tower ? seriously ... :D
I own all the DLC's and to be honest i was also disappointed with Paris implementation, but not as disappointed as I am right now with Belgrade. I don't think I'll visit Serbia ever again, but I will go to France again. There is absolutely nothing to see in Serbia except highways and gas stations.

Well, at least you still have some scenic Routes..unlike that Iberia DLC which many people kinda despised lol

Unfortunately, these countries with beautiful roads and cities are not transit countries.
Serbia is an important transit country in the Balkans, and if Turkey or Greece join later, there is no way around Belgrade.

This is actually first DLC which I refund. This DLC is nothing more than some straight highways with couple roundabouts. As Slovenian I can asure you those 400m of "Ljubljana" is not even remotely close to real life.

Still can't figure it out, what took them so long to copy/paste roads in this area.

According to Google Maps there is one, called A1.

I am now in Belgrade first time. You may call me a fanboy, but I felt encountering a big city, when I see this.
But OP's dead end side road with no space for trucks was not included...

Not everything about West Balkan DLC's is bad, some areas look good. Sarajevo for example looks very good. Albania also looks interesting. I've never been to Pristina, but it looks like a city to me, but disappointment still prevails. I'm currently traveling around Tallinn and Helsinki and the cities look good to me. These are small towns compared to Belgrade, but I can see that work has gone into them. Belgrade is just a huge disappointment in my eyes and the few pictures from the industrial area won't change anything.
