A Thread dedicated to users who find Balkans DLC works fine

I am bound to say that I agree with @Wolfgang on his one, a new profile with verified files and zero mods is the only way to test the integrity of a new DLC and that until mod developers catch up, steer clear of them. This approach has been proven to work in the past and is likely to continue. So would all those who are enjoying the new DLC like me with no crashes like to register their success in this thread so others can perhaps benefit?

Old profile (level 726), 6 little mods, everything is working fine (no crash, no lag)

I can confirm there are some FPS issues close and in cities. At least at the three I visited. Normally my FPS are at 83 (capped) but they were on average down to about 75 FPS with the lowest I've seen being 63 FPS. So some optimisation is needed here. It might be due to the slew of errors some model throws into the game.log, which I will report today (along with another bug I found).
But zero crashes so far on a vanilla profile.

Bug report #2 won't happen as I forgot to activate the minimap.

Today I drove my first job since the update, a trip from Warsaw to Zenica (BH), and I had no problems on my vanilla profile.

Perhaps it should be mentioned that before I started I had of course downloaded the update and bought and installed West Balkan.
After this I verified my files just to be sure... there were no errors there.
And then it was finally time to start the game with the new West Balkan DLC, which works fine here.

The only issue that I had was Steam thinking that I still had the DLC in my basket AFTER it was purchased and my game updated.

On entering the game, my map did not show the new content. I restarted the game and got the WoT prompt to add the DLC to my WoT account. Everything appears to be normal after that initial hiccup.

There does appear to be an unusual amount of folk with issues. Anyone that I know is tech savvy isn't reporting issues, many that I know have little PC/Steam knowledge are having some issues do tend to get flustered when things don't go as expected.

I don't think that these issues are either game or DLC issues as there would be tens of thousands more posts if this were the case.

Many issues not related to mods may be sorted through a computer shutdown, Steam game file verification, Steam restart or testing on a new mod free profile.

Remember that the game requirements are updated for this version of the game, new DLCs normally have *some* further polish required in the days and weeks after release.

Been playing for 6 years with the same profile, while using mods. Never had issues.

It's not a rocket science... just start a new profile without mods and recheck the files before you launch after install a dlc.

DLC working very well. Only strange things that I finded was some jumping(no FPS)by two or three roundpoints at Ljubjana and two free tolls, I dont remember exatly where.

Can confirm the tolls. They seem to be invalid. Sadly I forgot to take their coordinates as otherwise I would have reported it (would have been bug #3 in that case).

There are some toll plazas that don't charge and instead give a message to the effect that it is the start and you will be assessed the charge upon exit or end of toll route.

There are in fact ones that aren't valid tolls for the game. From my game.log file:

No problems just started on the vannila savegame i always use without recheck i use only 4 mods just a little drop in FPS so looking good

Works great fo me, Its actually made the game more stable and theTruck drive better. I loving it. OK I seem to be struggling on the Jobs, Stuck on 2/15. But I Giving SCS 12 out of 10 for this. Its improved everything

Wolfgang fixed my new pc today. I had a bug and I fixed it with his diagnosis. lol
