Probably never, since Great Britain isn't a part of Europe anymore.
The best option would to delete it entirely from the game and add Ukraine, Greece and Cyprus instead...
Otherwise West Balkans is a jewel to drive in, except for the stupid idea of implementing the "X-ray buildings" at the border crossings...
Who's idea was that???
Pain in the hole to navigate into them with a long trailer...
Maybe learn some geography, the UK is still part of Europe, they didn't suddenly became their own continent.
The UK is NOT a part of the European Union anymore which is something entirely different.
I've yet to be called in to one of those for a check on West Balkans (though I have at the similar facilities on the Road to the Black Sea DLC).
I was thinking Greece as I looked at the high-level map. North Scandinavia might be difficult due to the snowy roads and associated physics?
Speculation: Greece is more of the islands and which ones will be added and which will not. Crete and "Euboea" are the most likely islands going to be added but Rhodes is the only other one that would be logical to add as the rest are too small and or have no road traffic.
1st part. That's like saying Serbia is not apart of Europe because it's also not in the EU, same applies to Albania, Belarus, Bosnia - Herzegovina, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine.
2nd: Cyprus will most likely never be added for 3 main reasons combined. Cyprus has THREE countries in it plus a DMZ. It's only 9,251 km² while Corse (the french island above Sardinia) is only 8,722 km² and last it's a VERY touchy political topic for some but with Kosovo and Serbia being added this may not applies as much as it use to.
3rd: The UK will be revamped AFTER the rest of the BASE GAME is done. We still have Czechia, Benelux, Base game Eastern France, Base game Northern Italy (though tbh it's only 3 -5 cities that need it like Venice) and Base game Western Poland. Switzerland is "almost" done.
4th: Ukraine is most likely to not be added along with Belarus and Moldova due to the current situation going on.
5th: Boarder crossings are not meant to be fun but annoying. It is a random chance you will need to go through the X-ray building. You can turn off Fines when going through the boarder crossing and skip that part if you find it that annoying.
Well, the border crossings at the motorways are fine, I was referring to the border crossings at small country roads.
One border crossing in particular east of Tirana (on SH9 coming from north), when you have to make a sharp right turn, and then a sharp left turn to enter the X-ray building. Its almost impossible with a trailer to straighten up, and enter the X-ray Building. If the building had been more to the righthand side and a liitle wider carports...
I do't understand why everything in ETS2 is so "narrow" (toll gates, border crossings etc). It's like the developers has "tunnel vison mode" on...
