Property Magnate - <ERROR> Garage prefab not found! (rijeka)

Hey!

I am working on the Property Magnate achievement, and I was reading that some people have had issues with the achievement unlocking with a certain line in their gamelog.

I have never used a map mod (other than changing the GPS colours), and I don't currently have the West Balkans DLC bought, but I seem to have this error in my gamelog:

<ERROR> Garage prefab not found! (rijeka)

I can't seem to work out what a "prefab" is, or why a Croatian city would appear in my gamelog at all.

Is this likely to impact the achievement? I am trying to figure this out before I sink 100+ hours into this haha. Any help is very appreciated!

The base map contains (AFAIK) references to all the garage in the game including the DLCs. However, your achievement will not be impacted if you don't own DLCs. Only the DLCs you have will count.

That's the thing, it doesn't name any garage other than Rijeka. I can't see a reason why Rijeka would be on there in any way?

Because it is referenced in the base.scs file. But it won't affect your achievement.

The base map does not contain references to all garages in the game, but the map data does include areas that are not only adjacent to the base map area but also adjacent to other DLC areas (so, for example, there are map sectors in the base map data that cover the border areas for France and Spain).

Most of the map items in those sectors are not a problem because they are hidden behind a DLC guard value but (to the best of my knowledge) garages don't have a DLC guard and therefore they will be added to the user's saved data even though they cannot be owned (this was also true, for instance, with the garage in Genoa for those that did not have the Italia DLC).

Whether this will prevent the Property Magnate achievement from popping I cannot say but I suspect that it might because the vast majority of achievements only use the data in the saved game file and it is impossible to tell from there whether a garage exists in an area that the player does not have installed.

Based on what I was reading, the line in the log that has broken the achievement is "Garage not Found". What I have is "Garage Prefab Not Found".

I don't know what "Prefab" is, or who it would differ.

Aha, sorry, I misinterpreted. FWIW I have the same error in my game log because I have not yet installed West Balkans. Looking at the map data it would seem there has been some tidying up done (presumably now that West Balkans has officially released) and there are no references to rijeka in the base map data any more. However, the likes of you and I still have a reference to that garage in our saved game data so now the game complains that it cannot find that prefab (a type of map item in the underlying data which determines the layout of the garage).

I'm afraid that I still cannot tell you whether that will affect the Property Magnate achievement, you'd have to raise that with SCS.

Update: I have done some additional scans across the map data and the part above about rijeka not being there any more is rubbish - either finger trouble or a complete brain fart on my part. I've left it there as a partial explanation of what a prefab is.

Digging a little deeper I believe that the message is simply reporting that the prefab connected to the garage item does not exist, in this case because it is DLC guarded.

I guess in a worst case scenario, I'll just buy the DLC and then the garages. Once I have that many garages, I can't imagine money will be too much of an issue anyway

Well... any solution for this?.... i delete all mods, about the map i only have "wase dark mode, i never install "map modes", i already delete ALL the mods, i have not beautiful tyres, realistic rain and no one of this..
i play alone and everything is ok, i play hours and hours... no problem... its only when i join on a convoy that i have this problem "<ERROR> Garage prefab not found! (rijeka)" its the only "<ERROR>" i see on logs...
i create a convoy and i have no problem, my friends when they join to my convoy has this problem... they play in onther convoys with no problem and when i join on another convoys i has the problem, so, the problem is in my game or profile or computer or i dont know...

Note: i create another profile and from zero i have the same problem

Note2: not only "unable the mods" i DELETE the mods, i have no Beta's on my game propieties. I dont know what happened...

i just dont play for a few months and when my friend ask me to make some travels i got this issue. Damn it!

Please, somebody tell me how to fix this error? any real answer? "not buying a DLC"

There is no solution for this as this is not an issue. You just don't have the corresponding DLC which is not an issue.

There is no solution for this as this is not an issue. You just don't have the corresponding DLC which is not an issue.

My best friend who i played all the times ATS and ETS2 has the same DLC than me... And he can plays.. we have the same game and configuration he can play online and i can't...

Great. But again: This error won't cause any issues. Whatever issue you have is fully on your end.
