Virtual Reality Support?

Hi guys,
With the Quest 3 around the corner. I was wondering if there was VR support for this game as I would be very hyped about playing this game in VR. If not is there any decent unofficial support?
Also, if there is there any rumours of supprt?

There is an unofficial support for vr , you found it under betas

It already works with most Oculus headsets + open VR for other brands. I guess if Meta keeps using the same API for Oculus then the Quest 3 should be compatible as well.

ETS2 supports VR as a beta version.
You will need to download the VR enabled version of the client.
(ETS2 -> Properties -> Beta -> Oculus+openVR)

Bugs are supported, but you have to understand that it is only a beta version and has a low priority.

Hi peeps. Im having issues with my ETS menu when trying to enable VR. I have read and looked at so many videos but it seems my "General Menu" is different. I dont have the option to dissable Theatre mode. All I have is,

Enable the Steam Overlay while in game
Steam Cloud
Launch Options
Advanced users may choose........... to which I have typed "-oculus"

Am i missing something?
Can anyone help?

In the latest game version I have "oculus - Oculus+OpenVR+OpenXR - 1.50" in Betas. I got curious about the OpenXR specifically, because my Meta Quest Link software was advising me to set it as an active OpenXR Runtime. I did this in Settings - General for Link software, and tried to use -openxr as a launch option in ETS2 settings in Steam. Worked like a charm for me.

Did you manage to solve it?

You only need to disable Theatre Mode if playing via SteamVR, in which case you open SteamVR's settings, go to the dashboard, and disable Theatre Mode.

Option - SHOW VR APPLICATIONS ON THEATRE SCREEN AFTER LAUNCH - I HAVE IT TURNED OFF

ETS still launches for the cinema only.

What headset are you using? Have you set up either the -oculus, -openvr or -openxr parameter in the game properties?
