I have absolutely no clue of what you mean. Care to elaborate?

You want United States $ dollars in EURO Truck Simulator?

If it's what Mojo_Musica mentions, you need to look [edit: at what Nimir-Raj says /edit] , if it's something else then do what Wille Wilse says :-)

Make a copy of the economy_data.sii file then add the following at the bottom of the file before the 2 } brackets.

currency_code[]: "USD"
currency_ratio[]: 0.927
currency_sign1[]: ""
currency_sign2[]: "$"
currency_sign3[]: ""

Then go into your game's mod folder create the folder structure "Mod Name/def/" and place the new economy_data.sii file in the def folder. Done.

Bare in mind you should update the mod with every main game update to make sure other data is up to date in the file.

LOL, I just assumed USD would be in the options, since everything else typical to the US is, and Euro is an option in ATS, how odd.

My wonder is, why bother USD? Everything in the game is virtual in terms of value and conversion between USD and Euro has been unprecedentedly close.

Well, maybe the op doesn't like the Euro dollar sign.

But does it change the green icon at toll gates and gas stations?

Maybe they want to get less bang for their buck.

Makes sense since you can covert everything to imperial metrics in the settings.

Then just use British Pound Sterling with it for correct combo. It is their empire the US got their "imperial" measures from. Although their gallons and weigh pounds have shrunk on the way...

ETS2 uses euros internally, along with metric measurements, so anything you see for any other units are conversions (and thus, in the case of the revenue numbers, might change with a change of currency rates). ATS uses dollars for currency, but metric for everything else (which is less of an issue because the conversion rates for distances, weights and measures etc. are all fixed and thus the converted values remain the same).

Is it somehow possible that the exchange value gets updated in "real time" (on game start for example)?

No, all such stuff is hard coded into some property file (in this case economy_data.sii). As long as you don't find a way to rewrite this file in the mod zip-file automatically before each start, it will always be the last value you put there manually. Changing values on runtime is impossible anyways. So if you would change the value because the dollar dropped at noon, it would not change in the game until you quit and restart (more an issue for values like temperature though).
