Something cool from Thrustmaster..
This could be nice for some people, makes it easy to set your wheel up in a more truck like angle, unfortunately it's not for all wheels.

this is probably more directed at the t128, but the 248 isn't out of reach, if anyone has experience. i have a driving force pro, its stupid loud (gear whine), and wouldn't object to replacing it if it was worth it, as i mostly just use a controller now. does anyone have experience with the 128 or 248? the g29 more or less splits the difference, so i suppose that works as well. i dont really play alot, and dont really play other driving games, so a couple hundred bucks has a long payback time, but isnt out of line.

the gear whine is really the underlying problem. do the t128, t248 or g29 fix that?

It's advertised for both the T128 and T248, certainly not for other wheels, but I suppose if the base of another device is smaller it might fit with something to fill the space.

You could probably mount a G29 on that too, Hhhhmm interesting.

I have a g29 and gear shift knob. I am also hyped about this. Simtask steering kit. I have not looked around on internet for much uh...if it fits i gues. Because then it would kick ass

Really cant see the point of that for a 12-14" wheel.
Now if the wheel was same size as truck wheel is in r/l then there may justification for it.
Also, wouldn't want the hassle of switching mounting around as I switch from trucks to cars.
Very happy with my GTRacing rig and G Pro d/d setup

I cant see the point of that at all (at least for a truck game).
If the wheel is "standing straight" in a Vehicle it is mostly when it has some automatic Wheel Adjustments and is in parking Position.

No one would drive that way at higher speeds (unlike farm vehicles which may have it set that way up when they are working on the fields on their slow speeds) as it would be to easy to loose control.

Looks as though you can adjust the rake and height of the wheel but even so you need a truck wheel to benefit IMO.

I think since then Moza have announced a nice trucking wheel, and Aerosoft an entire set made for bus/truck games.

Though I HATE Aerosoft, the wheel set looks promising, and it's nice to see wheel (setups) made for trucking games.

It's been a while since I drove trucks irl, but the first truck I drove irl some 25 years ago, a Daf 1900 for sure had an angle similar to the setup you see in the link.

Just looked at Aerosoft set up.

https://www.aerosoft.com/en/shop/move/hardware/4144/aerosoft-truck-bus-wheel-system

Pedals look v cheap.
At that price gonna keep my dosh and put it towards a new monitor.
Had a similar Thrustmaster set up (plastic pedals) and the pedal springs went after 14 mnths. No spares available so had to bin them. Put me off Thrustmaster for life as I dont have £250 to throw away every 18 mnths or so. Bought a 10yr old G25 and (8 yrs later) that has been sold on.

The pedals look cheap indeed, and it worries me for the rest of the product, but I do like the button box with shifter.

Though I have the TH8A and really want one of those shifter addons with splitter and range buttons, I don't trust any of the sellers :-)
