KernelBase.dll
For some time, both in ETS2 and ATS, I noticed that there was a jerking movement when vehicles passed on the opposite carriageway. It also happened when turning right or left. I deleted mods, adjusted graphics. It still happened. Then came the random crash. I investigated everything. Still no joy. So I contacted a pal of mine. He looked into the problem for me, and suggested I replace my KernelBase.dll. After much mucking about, I did it. Both in Sys32 and sysWow64. I have played both sims for well over and hour. There is no longer any jerking and the crash has not happened. When I enquired about this, my pal said the ,dll had become corrupt. Caused by deleting files ect. I wanted you to know, in case you were having a similar problem. All the best. Gaztop

I hope you have made a windows repair and not downloaded it from some third party site where you don't know what they might have modified in it.

It;s all good mate. I ran sfc/scannow just conform no corrupt files had crept in. And a virus scan. This .dll comes from a known site. I have used them for years.

the sfc only did not what you need in many ways

next:
1: "dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth"
2: "Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth"
3: if errors then "dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth"
4: Restart the PC&repeat 1-3, if no errors on step 2 you are fine if not next round, after round 3-4 you can think about a Windows clean Install

A little hint, never ever put .dll´s from websites in your Sys32/sysWow64 folder, if they needed by 3rdparty for Games they can be in the game/bin folder of the game, and hell no KernelBase.dll

I have been using computers since 1976. I have built them. killed them, and re-built them. I have been online and downloading files since the dial up days. You are trying to teach your Grandmother how to suck eggs me old mate.
