Look at the signs above each lane at the toll booths, they will tell you which ones you can drive straight through without stopping. Some of the lanes are not to be used by trucks, these will also have signs indicating cars only.
Practice makes perfect.
If this is not the case then tell me which truck, chassis, trailer(s), cargo and where it happened last time so that I can check it me too. By the way, I'm on v1.46 yet (no v1.47 beta) and without Black Sea/Iberia DLC, but up to Baltic border checks I can give it a try.

Hope this helps you!
So not a game problem but due to a mod.
You need to start moving immediately the barrier is vertical.
Are you using triple trailers (which aren't allowed in Europe btw)?
So at best I have to leave the trailer behind, which isnt good at all. if the game would just not close the barrier on my truck when im waiting for the annoying documents checking it would be annoying but it wouldnt be as bad as it is now, like the areas with border checkpoints are unplayable withouth mods as the barrier would destroy the cargo and truck when it clips inside, and even with the no damage mod you still need to be towed a billion times which costs money and time when the game imo just shouldnt close the barrier on my truck or trailer.
I am not on the beta, latest normal version and I had some like longer chassis which I am not sure if it is in the base game or not I have seen it on multiple trucks I think it was like one of these where you have steering wheels on the rear, and 2 in the front and then like 3 wheels in the middle. it makes it easier to take corners with cargo. as for the trailer itself there are dual trailers, but it was just a single trailer when I had the issue.
I dont know why it is a thing, but I do play thing game with mods only so thats why I need a mod that removes the border checkpoints or atleast prevents the clipping( or a no clip thing, I guess that would work too).
this is basically the situation with the truck, and weither it is or isnt a mod, Im mainly looking for a way to have it fixed withouth disabling mods.
Is it happening to every player who goes through the border checkpoints, or just the OP?
I would suggest that there is not a problem with the borders, and the OP is either going through the wrong lane or he's using a mod that causes the error.
The usual argument applies: if there aren't any reports of this from lots of other players, it isn't likely to be a fault with the game, as they would all be here, saying the same thing.
Some of those border crossings are much more complicated than a simple toll booth, you have to present papers, and have the truck scanned and inspected, stopping at multiple locations, if I remember correctly, as well as only going through in the required lane.
I have had all the DLC with these borders since they came out and have never experienced this happening.
I will, if time allows, try and drive though some of them and see what happens.
I just want to use the nice chassis from the work shop and drive around with that as it is great for everything, like its the best one ever. like if that one mod someone linked (still gotta test it) doesnt fix it ill just avoid them all together I guess, its not the end of the world but it would be nice if it could be fixed by a mod or another way.
