because it's in your my documents folder in the main config file, well actually there is no g_traffic file, but you can change the traffic density in the config file.

Thanks for the help
You can modify this by the console inside the game, press ` inside the game and type g_traffic and modify... But you need to have the developer and console active in config file
try changing the value from default 1.0 to 2.5 in steps of 0.25 and see what happens and if you like it. if you get familiar with the setting, then try other, higher values. you might see that you can easily skip any traffic density mod. Higher values = traffic jam forever.

Well, the g_traffic variable may actually have values between 0.0 and 10.0 (default is 1.0).

0.0 means no traffic at all. Less than 1.0 means less traffic than default and more than 1.0 means more than default. 10.0 is insane crazy traffic jam.

So, you do this:

-Windows Explorer
-Go to your documents folder:
volume:\Users\username\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2
- open config.cfg with notepad/editor for example
- in this opened file search for the string

uset g_traffic "1.0"

Then you change the above shown value, save it and start the game.

Valid values are from 0-10, default is 1, I recommend to try within a range from 1 to 2.5, others play with higher values it seems.

Thanks, what about on ats?
It's the same game with other maps, so it's the same procedure in the American Truck Simulator folder.

Exactly the same, except you use "American Truck Simulator" instead of "Euro Truck Simulator 2" in the instructions above.
