I don't think in reality you'd be allowed to put a Stobart, Dachser, etc logo on your private trailer.
And you can choose for yourself to only drive for the company you like.
Though if you want that, you could extract the textures and create a simple mod, adding the defs for ownable trailers.
But, other than functional stuff like eating or so, a skin is a pretty much static thing that is not messed up by every update and needs extensive rewriting. I still use 1.36 skins in ATS. In ETS I last used mod skins under 1.35 (no coincidence, I had a hard disk crash back then) which dated back to the 1.1x versions.
