Why is it so sensitive? It makes my truck go on a full stop even at 90km/h if a car changes lane in front of me, in this video i couldnt even pass the truck in front of me because it didnt let me

This feature has been in the game for quite a while now, never fully implemented or even slighly improved since it was added, will it ever be fixed and implemented?

This is NOT an official feature but highly experimental thus you WILL run into issues using it (which is like any change to your config file on your own risk). And due to its highly experimental state and it being unofficial SCS is also not accepting any bug reports regarding it.

Look into the config.cfg of your driver profile (in profile map (documents)) and change these settings:

uset g_emergency_mode "1"
uset g_emergency_brake "0"
uset g_acc "35"

That will solve the problem. (works here fine)

Playing 1.47 earlier, it is definitely improved upon. Still sensitive if you're driving directly at oncoming traffic, such as making a 90 degree right turn.

Released originally as a hidden experimental feature back in 1.44, we are glad to be able to bring this highly requested addition to the 1.47 update. Adaptive Cruise Control automatically adjusts the distance and speed from the vehicle in front when in cruise control mode. This is especially handy when encountering a busy highway, where you may find traffic often merging into a gap in front of you, or in situations where traffic speed is constantly changing.

I hope they have an option to disable this feature or more exactly the braking.
I did add commands in console but the EB was so annoying as it was being applied when meeting oncoming traffic in any single lane road and coming to a virtual stop.
I have added the ACC to config file and that is working quite well. Has issues when following traffic on bends (ie Alpine type roads) as I think it thinks the traffic has cleared and boots it. I know it can't deal with sudden braking from vehicles in front and hence the EB system but hey, as your driving and as with all these auto systems they should only be used as an assist so driver must be prepared to intervene and not just leave it to the vehicle as I think a few BMW drivers are finding out.

When this thread was started it still was experimental. It's being officially introduced with 1.47 update; Open Beta started on 15th. :)

the emergency braking system is a good mod. But it is only in the trial stage. There will certainly be a lot of work on this system. When the emergency braking system is activated in the truck, an alarm will be triggered in the driver's cab. Some trucks will produce a red flashing light on the instrument panel.
