What is the best map DLC's to buy?
I am thinking about buying two or three DLC's but i am wondering which are best that have a mix of city's and rural area's.

I would say the Baltic expansion (especially Finland), Scandinavia, and Going East. The latter is in rough shape as it was the first one, and is in need of a desperate makeover.

I should add my primary experience is playing this with promods over it, so there may be some dramatic differences. If you get all the map DLCs and PM though, it does help largely fix going east and makes it much better (and larger.) It does fix Going East's territory significantly and brings it up to a more modern state (more polish Autostradas, added major missing cities, and many rural roads added that can lead through smaller towns.)

Italy is a good map DLC.
A real cool canyon with train tracks is the best spot.

to be fair, I think it depends on what location you're the most interested in. for me personally I loooove Norway, But I also haven't been in much of the other dlcs, the southern dlcs look nice and warm, one of my fav places are those little islands that come with france/italy so there's a ton of choices depending on what you think is pretty

In my opinion, all maps have a good mix of city and rural areas.
But the latest maps have a better graphics quality than the oldest maps.

But maybe you should consider taking the step fully and going for Map Booster where you are currently getting 6 maps for 25.45€
