Saved Profiles

Hello All, I have played this game for over 70 hours, installed it onto different platforms and usually when I sign in on my new laptop I cant find my main profile, it wants to set up a new Profile, I have tried to transfer an old save of my Profile but nothing, any help gratefully accepted please, any advice also gratefully accepted. Thank you.

If you play with the same Steam Profile on different computers you should probably activate Cloud Saving.

Hello, thank you for the reply, cloud save is turned on, but still dont show my profile, even on my main PC it still shows sign in to a new profile, this is why I am at such a loss.

I personally don't use those cloud thing but I think you have to activate it for the ingame profile. In the Screen where you can choose the profile you can edit it. I just don't know if you can activate this for a already existing profile.

Its really strange because I have never changed anything and never had a problem, usually just opened game and then it was there, years ago I had to move the saved profiles but never had to do that again, cloud saves are good because means you can access it but for some reason this has gone wrong this time. Thank you for the reply.

...\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles(1.46.2.17s).bak (or any .bak you may have last)

the files it shows are ones from the 20th of Feb, so not my old profiles.

Other two folders too, no luck with those either? : /

Last chance may be on OneDrive if you have it enabled. Or do you have set launch parameters and game is defaulting in a different folder than Documents? Any other manual back up made in the past? Just to avoid to start over completely : (

sorry just replying, i will check what you have said, I have not changed any settings at all, I have an old save but it wont let me use that either, I put them into Docs folder with the saves for ets2 but does not access or show the profile when opening the game, thank you for the reply.
