ETS2 crashing at random, especially around certain DLC areas in the map

I've been having this problem for a very long time now, wherein ETS2 decides to randomly crash after a few minutes of play. I've tried deactivating mods, updating graphics' drivers, my pc specs are above recommended... to no avail. My processor is a Ryzen 3 with integrated Amd radeon graphics, 8gb ram, and plenty of space on my hard drive. Almost no apps in background except for steering wheel, I tried comparing with and without mods. Crashes still occur EVEN on lowest settings. I simply have no clue what to do.

One more thing: these crashes tend to concentrate on the Iberia DLC (Portugal and Basque Country), Marseille in Vive la France and Hungary. In other parts of the map it doesn't tend to suddenly crash as often.

Turn off any antivirus or antispyware program. Don't just exit them in the tray, make sure they are disabled in the task manager > start too, as they can reboot themselves otherwise.

Try limiting the framerate at 60FPS. I used to have crashes because of game engine being uncapped when you alt-tab or in menus. It had something to do with GPU power states IIRC.

Go to "C:\Users\your username\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2" and open "game.log.txt" (NOT game.crash.txt), then post it to pastebin.com (split if too big) then post the link to that page here.

Change the following lines in the config (or config.cfg) file:

uset cf_asus_aura "1"
uset cf_razer_chroma "1"

Change the "1" to "0" and save it.

You can find the config (or config.cfg) file in your documents in the ETS2 folder.

@Magiciso - you can split your copy paste and pick up only things that are more pertinent for example. It is too much to fully read OP before to reply with a copy paste? What if OP will half-read your copy paste and reacts in the same way that Nelle suggests? Simple, your copy paste fails the point and at worst derail the thread : /

did change it still need the game log that gonna tell us alot

@kikgamet Its a copy and paste for a reason, providing the information requested means we have a solid chance of understanding why it's crashing.

And the asus part is a well known cause of crashes.

When using Jazzycat's AI Traffic Pack in conjunction with his Motorcycle Traffic Pack, you want to activate ONLY the "jaz" file and not the other def file. They can't both be active at the same time.

Also, those two mods are quite outdated. The current version of the AI Traffic Pack is 19.4 and the Motorcycle Pack is 5.6.

Not sure about your other mods, but try updating those to current and eliminating the un-needed def file from Motorcycle pack and try again.

If that is a notebook/laptop, it is NOT designed or made for running GFX-intensive games on.
It does not reach the hardware specifications for the game that are needed to enable the game to run correctly.

There are some big problems in the game.log file:
First, running the game on an integrated GPU like the AMD Radeon is not recommended, it is not designed to play games on and uses the normal RAM of the computer, which is slower than GFX card video RAM and restricts the RAM available for games and programs running.

That is not enough RAM to run the game and run the graphics correctly.
All the errors at the end of the log, before the crash are from memory errors:
"00:02:42.081 : <ERROR> [gfx] Failed to assign pool segment (models) for incoming allocation of size 848052"
Eight errors like that, then the crash.

Mods are not going to help either, but that is separate from the hardware problem.
Start a new, unmodded, vanilla profile (you can have as many as you want) and test the game.

Business laptops or notebooks are not designed for games, even gaming laptops are very compromised for gaming on, you really need a proper gaming PC to make sure games can run as intended.

To expand on what @mojo_musica said, your game.crash file shows how little RAM you had left when the game crashed:

Meaning you were practically out of it. I highly recommend to close all background programms and to turn down the graphic settings so that your GPU doesn't need more than its allocated 2GB of VRAM as it will then use the system RAM (though its allocated VRAM is actually part of your system RAM in your case).
