Downloading PM from other sites than their own is not even allowed as stated on the website.
The op said "repaying". Doesn't sound like a donation. Donations are optional. If you "have to pay" for something to get it, it's not a donation.
Donations are totally okay of course, when you like a freeware and appreciate the hard work of the creator.
If anyone comes to a page where they're forced to pay for PM, it's not a real PM page and like others said, a scam. This seems to happen with a lot of mods, not just PM in this game. I remember reading about some freeware creators who decided to quit largely because of those (and a few of those guys who charge 40 bucks for a truck retaliate at the whole community by making everyone pay for updates from then on.)
